3S Consultancy was founded to deliver expert hands-on support to manufacturers and processors working with complex machinery and production systems because when your machines run better, so does your business.
We work directly with teams to solve the issues that slow production, create waste and impact customer satisfaction.
With over 30 years of hands-on experience, founder Markus Maderthaner began his career as a 15-year-old apprentice, learning the importance of detail and discipline on the factory floor. Over the years, he progressed through technical and leadership roles, supporting processors and manufacturers of all sizes, and eventually leading global factory installations as Managing Director for a leading European machinery supplier.
Markus’s career has taken him across America, Australia, Canada, China, Europe, Korea, and New Zealand, where he has commissioned and supported production setups. Through his work on new installations, factory upgrades, and critical breakdowns, he’s learned how to fine-tune layouts and bring machinery back to peak performance.
Trained in both electrical and mechanical engineering, with a focus on CNC machining and programming, Markus applies decades of practical experience to the projects he supports. Fluent in both English and German, he also bridges communication with European OEMs and service teams seamlessly.
